Horay!!!!!

I just handed in my digital literacy report. I feel free at the moment but I still have to finish my Korean language school annual report. I am going to have a festival this saturday at Olympic park....^^ I am really excited having fun that day with my students.

My scenario for digital literacy

My scenrio for digital literacy is the university. How the univesity student uses digital literacy efficiently and how to communicate with the classmate and lectures through the digital literacy.

The Chamberlain trial and appeals

There was unjust of this case. Firstly, ignorance and prejudice about the Seventh Day Adventists would run ahead of the evidence. Secondly,there was no effectively communication to a jury in a criminal trial. finally, thsere was public disbelief from the media. I think that this case was against the laws such as freedom from bias, equality before the law, presumption of innocence and the right of appeal. We should also take account in considering whether the evidence establishes.

Domestic violence

Family violence called as domestic violence. Domestic violece happen in families between members and an intimidate relationship with victim such as boyfriend, girlfriend or same sex relationships. Especially, the violence follows a cycle or pattern which goes from relatively calm to explosive phases of violence. Domestic violene can include any forms of physical abuse, such as punching , hitting, pushing or using physical force against another person. It also include different forms of assult. The following are the examples.

• sexual abuse
• verbal abuse
• emotional or psychological abuse
• damaging property or being cruel to your pets
• stalking and intimidation
• social or geographical isolation
• financial abuse

However, domesitc violence shouldn't confused with day- by- day disicipline by parents.

Markson in the clear, as police drop investigation into driving offences

Max Markson did speed driving over 20 times in last 20 months but he didn't lose his licence and demerit points at all. The reason of this that his company paid extra penalty for no nominating the driver in each offence.

Personal Reflection

The penalty for failing to nominate a driver has been doubled to $5500 for individual and $11.000 for a company since 19 April 2010. However, some people try to use a loop-hole in the law all the time so I think that the law should apply to further strengthen the provision to make fairness for everyone.

Summary

Parramatta CBD is not a safe place at the moment because schoolboys, drug dealers, hobos on park benches are making people away from Parramatta. Another reason to make peole scared that many down-out people come to Parramatta for free meals from Parramatta Mission. To make people feel safe , down-out people should be moved away from Parramatta to anothe place and council should take a strong action with local police.

Personal Reflection

I strongly believe that people should feel safe in their resident area. Especially, adolecent are easy to involve all kind of bad situations and it can be impaired their adulthood. Therefore, council and local police should take a strong action immediately.

Children at risk in hospitals

Summary

To permit adults in the same wards with children is very dangerous. However, reason of bed shartages push the hospital to house female patients in its paediatric wards and hospital administrators close poaediartric wards for saving money but NSW Health doesn't support co-location of children with adults.

Personal Reflection
I don't think that it is a good idea to close paediatric wards just for saving money even NSW Health doesn't allocate any money for a regional hospital. Children are vulnerable to get diseases so the hospital should keep paediatric wards even though it makes smaller size.

Summary
The weight loss program trainer have asked participators not to drink water almost 2 days before they measured their weight. Someone could be killed from it. Obesity experts advised that fast weight loss is dangerous and dehydration from heat exhaustion will kill obese people.

Personal Reflection
Obesity is a epidemic problem in Australia so the weight loss program is giving a chance to obese people to lose their weight. However, it is important to aware of obese people's health condition after fast weight loss. Also, TV programs can produce and have a great effect on wrong people's common knowledge. Therfore, we should try to get right information from TV programs.

Childhood Obesity

Obesity can be defined as a human condition that impairs normal function and implies ill-health.
The main causes of obesity are unhealthy food choice, lack of physical activity and sedentary life style.Obesity is a national epidemic in Australia. For example, one quarter of Australian children, 7 to 15 years olds are overweight or obesity. Also it is pridicted that 65 per cent of Australian children will be obesity in 2020. But obesity is not only a national problem. It is worldwide problem in developed countries. Likewise, childhood obesity cause the undesired damage to the health such as eating disorder, type 2 diabetes, liver problem, sleep apnoea and cardiomyopathy.In addition, obesity make social problem from teasing by the peer, low self-esteem , poor body image and children can be isolated.But obesity is a preventable disease which is linked with healthy food choice, limiting on TV and computer time and increasing fun activities.

Harmony day 2010

Harmony day began in 1999. Harmony day is about celebrating and encourging repect for our diversity on 21, March in every year. I have never joined the harmony day event before but I did some work with my daughter for school harmony day. It was so nice time to know differnt cultures and I was so proud of myself to live in Australia. Most of people in Korea don't know about Harmony day. There are many people who are from other countries because of intermationl marriges. International marriges are growing in Korea nowadays. I really want to share with those people in Korea.. "This world belong to us."

The Bard's too hard for English student

HSC English course is changing to contemporary texts instead of classical works.
It means the educational system is applying for itself to present and caring about students..

I am a turtle but I have patient....

To learn something needs time and a lot of effors.

Now, I am learning English step by step and enjoying it.

I belive that I can reach my goal one day..
